John Pinto

John is a social and behavioural scientist who believes honest inquiry begins in the grey, not the binaries of black and white. Drawing on postmodern thought and the deconstructive traditions, he works to reconstruct a reality more faithful to human experience. He holds a PhD in Social and Behavioural Sciences, a Masters in Counselling, and a Bachelor's in Genetics and Molecular Biology. Malaysian of Indian and Portuguese parentage and now based in Singapore, he is drawn to the intersections where truth tends to surface. When he isn't deep in deconstruction, he is likely nursing a Teh Tarik or working through a film.
